RCBOs

RCBO's are Residual Current Breakers with Over-Current protection. They protect against two types of fault and combines the functionality of an MCB and RCD.

• Type AC - Type AC RCBOs detect 50/60Hz AC and are designed for general use.
• Type A - Type A RCBOs detect 50/60Hz AC and pulsating DC. Type A RCBOs are designed to work with applications where pulsating DC current is generated. 
• Type B - Type B RCBOs detect 50/60Hz AC, high-frequency AC, pulsating DC and smooth DC currents. Type B RCBOs are designed to work with applications such as Electric Vehicle chargers, Medical Devices and Solar Panels.
